Bulk Meat Packages

Don't have enough freezer space for a whole or 1/2 cut of meat?  Our bulk meat packages are smaller amounts of a variety of meat for you to enjoy!  These packages are specially designed on a regular basis so be sure to check back for different cuts of meat available.  To order yours simply click on your desired package below and follow the steps!

Bulk Meat  Ordering

If your schedule doesn't allow for multiple grocery store stops then this "Fill Your Freezer" option is perfect for you!  Our bulk meat options & pricing is listed below the arrow chart.  We believe that spending quality time with your family as well as enjoying fresh, locally raised meat is a a very healthy way of life, therefore we've made this process super easy for you!  Step 1:  "Contact Us".

STEP 1 ~ Contact Us!

Call us at 814 521-0998 to determine availability and select from our list of recommended butchers.

STEP 2 ~ Send Deposit

We ask for a deposit to hold your butcher date. Once we receive your payment, your name is put on our list and we will contact the butcher to set up the appointment.

STEP 3 ~ Customize your Order

We take care of coordinating schedule and delivery of the beef or pork to the butcher, and will contact you to let you know how to get in touch with the butcher to give them your cutting instructions.

STEP 5 ~ Pick-up Meat

When your order is ready, we will contact you and ask that you schedule pick-up with your butcher. Upon pick-up you will also need to settle the butchering fees with your butcher.

STEP 4 ~ Pay remaining Balance

As soon as the hanging weight of the beef or pork is known, we will contact you and give you your final balance. You can choose to mail or drop off your payment at the farm.

Whole Freezer Beef

Approx. 800 lbs / $2.60 per lb

This is an entire beef, custom cut by one of our partner butchers. A whole beef weighs about 800 lbs and requires approximately 8 banana boxes worth of storage space in your freezer. Individual cuts are packaged in white, freezer paper.  Order this to share with friends, if you have a large family, or if you're preparing for the apocalypse!
Approximate cost break-down (using maximum weight/cost factors):  $2.60/lb dressed weight (2.60x800) = $2,080 payable to Windy Hill Farms.  Butchering costs average between .65 - .75/lb (.75x800) = $600 payable to the butcher.  TOTAL approximate cost for a whole beef = $2,680

Half Freezer Beef

Approx. 350-400lbs / $2.60 per lb

This is one side of beef, custom cut by one of our partner butchers. A half weighs between 350-400 lbs and requires approximately 4 banana boxes worth of storage space in your freezer. Individual cuts are packaged in white, freezer paper. Order this to split with family members, if you love to grill, or if you're preparing for a large event or wedding!
Approximate cost break-down (using maximum weight/cost factors):  $2.60/lb dressed weight (2.60x400) = $1,040 payable to Windy Hill Farms.  Butchering costs average between .65 - .75/lb (.75x800) = $300 payable to the butcher.  TOTAL approximate cost for a 1/2 beef = $1,340

One Quarter Freezer Beef

Approx. 150-200 lbs / $2.95 per lb

This is one side of beef, cut by one of our partner butchers and divided equally between 2 customers. A quarter weighs around 150-200 lbs and requires 2-3 banana boxes worth of storage space in your freezer. Individual cuts are packaged in white, freezer paper. Order this if you have limited freezer space, are looking for a gift for a family member or friend, or if you're planning on inviting the neighbors over to grill this summer!
Approximate cost break-down (using maximum weight/cost factors):  $2.95/lb dressed weight (2.95x200) = $590 payable to Windy Hill Farms.  Butchering costs average between .65 - .75/lb (.75x200) = $150 payable to the butcher.  TOTAL approximate cost for a 1/4 beef = $740

Whole Freezer Pork

Approx. 160-180 lbs / $1.60 per lb

This is one whole Pork, custom cut by one of our partner butchers. A whole hog weighs around 180 lbs and requires approximately 4 banana boxes worth of storage space in your freezer. Individual cuts are packaged in white, freezer paper. Order this if you have a large family, you have a friend to split it with, or you really, really like bacon!
Approximate cost break-down (using maximum weight/cost factors):  $1.60/lb dressed weight (1.60x180) = $288 payable to Windy Hill Farms.  Butchering costs average between .70 - .75/lb (.75x180) = $135 payable to the butcher.  TOTAL approximate cost for a whole pork = $423

Half Freezer Pork

Approx. 80-90 lbs / $1.60 per lb

This is one side of Pork, custom cut by one of our partner butchers. A half weighs between 80-90 lbs and requires approximately 2 banana boxes worth of storage space in your freezer. Individual cuts are packaged in white, freezer paper. Order this if you want to do a pig roast for a holiday, you have limited freezer space, or your kids will be home from college for the summer!
Approximate cost break-down (using maximum weight/cost factors):  $1.60/lb dressed weight (1.60x90) = $144 payable to Windy Hill Farms.  Butchering costs average between .70 - .75/lb (.75x90) = $67.50 payable to the butcher.  TOTAL approximate cost for a 1/2 pork = $211.50
